Test Analyst (AWS & Cloud)Telford (remote working until further notice)6 months£400-£440 per day Client Overview:You will be based on site working with one of the UK's most digital organisations and leading the technology revolution across the public sector. Your Responsibilities/Daily Tasks:Reviewing and analysing requirements and specifications to define comprehensive test scenarios and conditions.Preparing test plans, test scripts and test reports.Ensuring that high quality and accuracy is maintained through to release.Preparing and maintaining test packs for use with automated test tools.Execution of test scripts (manual and automated) and observing and recording test results.Identifying and logging of defects.Creating of or updating of tests to enable retest of corrected defects or change requirements.Empowered to make decisions relating to test scope and coverage of testing scenarios, test cases, test data and expected results.Analysing actual results against expected results during/following test execution and make informed decisions on the potential cause of deviations between them. Key Skills/Experience: Experience and knowledge of AWS and Cloud.Knowledge and understanding of test tools, methodologies and techniques to develop test artefacts (e.g. test data, automated test packs, end-to-end test suites etc.)Knowledge of structured test methods and processesExperience in testing complex user interfacesExperience of testing using an automated test tool such as SOAPUIKnowledge of quality assurance techniquesExperience in SOA and data communication techniques such as SOAP, XML, WSDL, JSON etc. Suitable candidates should submit their CV in the first instance.
