An Edinburgh based leading financial services organisation is seeking a Service Desk Team Leader to join them, offering a salary of £35,000 - £40,000 pa plus 10-20% bonus, 15% pension and discounted BUPA.  You will be working for a brilliant employer and one that provides its staff with an excellent culture, loads of training and plenty of career progression opportunities. As the Service Desk Team Leader, you will:
Take over the day to day oversight of 6 - 8 IT Support Analysts, who provide mostly 1st and 2nd line enterprise level technical support.Understand the balance between customer support and technology and how to build your team members skills and confidence.Be highly capable of driving your team to deliver outstanding results and will be responsible for running all aspects, including managing holidays and leave, as well as 1-2-1 performance meetings. This is a largely people focussed leadership role, but due to the nature of the organisation, you’ll not be above picking up the phone and answering support calls if required. We are keen to speak to people about this Service Desk Team Leader role with the following skills and experience:
Commercial experience leading a team in a largely Microsoft service desk environment, with the primary focus on delivering outstanding results and support to ITIL standards.Strong 1st, 2nd and 3rd line service desk support experience.Windows 7, 8 and 10, MS Outlook 2007 - 2016 (using Exchange Server) and database systems in a network environment.Mac OSX and iOS support experience.AD administration.Exchange 2010.Strong knowledge of how to set up and resolve hardware and peripheral issues (e.g. PC, MAC, Printer, iOS …). Your team of IT Support Analysts are focussed on delivering high quality and timely desktop, applications, mobile, server and network support in the financial services sector.  The entire organisation take pride in everything that they do, with a goal of providing a 5 star quality service.
