NEW VACANCY!One of the leading banks in Cheshire are looking for a new IT Applications Analyst.Do you have a passion for all thing's software?! If so, this team of 5 are looking for you to join ranks and help contribute to the bank's core processing application systems by offering guidance on the implementation of new software whilst maintaining the current processes in play!This is a new vacancy that has arisen as a result of their 2020 plans to invest in the IT department as a result of the upcoming projects post covid-19, therefore this is an amazing time to get on board!The role is based in Northwich, therefore if you live in a commutable distance of Warrington, Manchester, Stoke-on-trent, Macclesfield, Crewe, Liverpool, or surrounding areas - then this will be easily accessible! Essential Skills include:5+ years of Oracle database experience, including:* SQL and PL/SQL* Application Express development and administration* Exposure to database administration in a Linux/UNIX environment, i.e. RMAN, network configuration, Enterprise Manager* Experience of 2nd Line support for databases and associated applications* Experience of system design and implementation Desirable skills include:* Experience working in financial services* Knowledge of Oracle Flexcube* Understanding of Windows Server Environment* SQL Server experience* SAP Business Objects* IBM MQ* Webserver knowledge (WebSphere/WebLogic/Apache)One of the main reasons the current staff work for this bank is due to their illustrious 'Investors in People' GOLD accreditation. This derives from the amount of paid training courses they send their staff on to upskill their attributes.
