Materials Handler6 month contractCardiff£9.98phWe are looking for a Materials Handler to work with our expert Logistics team of 17 employees across the world. What you'll doPerform physical movement of materials from one area to another using handcarts or forkliftsPhysically and systemically receive/issue individual material requisitions from internal and external departments Quantifies and verifies cycle countProcess material against purchase orders and work orders using electronic material management systemCoordinate with on-site warehousing facilities for parts replenishment and material for storageWork with appropriate logistics and production personnel to resolve/prevent part shortagesPerform cycle audits and physical inventory per scheduleCoordinate receiving and stocking incoming goods. This includes ERP updating, reporting and resolution of receiving issuesHelp reconcile inventory discrepancies and report discrepancies to SupervisorMay assist in training of new hiresComply with EHS & Quality System regulations and policiesRead and follow work instructions and bills of materialsPerform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Who you are:Demonstrate ability to read, write and speak in local languageProficient in basic mathematicsAbility to communicate well and work with othersBasic computer skillsAbility to consistently liftAbility to utilise automated lifting equipment2 or more year's experience in storing and material handlingKnowledge of computerised material flow methodsBasic knowledge of quality and inventory controlIf you feel you are suitable, please send in your CV
