Junior Web Developer Weybridge to £35k

Junior Web Developer (Front End JavaScript Angular React) *Remote Interview WFH*. You could be joining a market leading media software house. As a Junior Web Developer within the New Product Development Team you will design and develop a web based management control system for the flagship product, a pseudo real time C++ multi-threaded global iTV broadcasting application that allows broadcasters worldwide to automate playout, handle acquisition, allow low and high resolution editing, manage assets and provide audience information for advertising.

As a Junior Web Developer you'll be continually learning and will gain exposure to a wide range of technology across the full stack including JavaScript, React, Angular, TypeScript, Node.js and REST APIs within a modern development environment including Agile TDD / BDD, microservices and cloud based systems.

There's an informal and collaborative software house environment with a social atmosphere (regular hackathons, gaming nights and go-karting away days, as well as company football and basketball teams), a casual dress code, semi-flexible working hours and superb career growth opportunities. Based in Surrey (KT postcode) with parking available and a shuttle bus from a mainline train station.

Driven by technology the company is able to offer a remote interview / onboarding process and work from home during the current social distancing measures.

Requirements:

Experience developing web applications using JavaScript

Experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (React or Angular preferred)

Good understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as Object Orientated Programming

Collaborative, keen to learn with excellent communication skills
