An opportunity has arisen for a Lead Site Engineer with Electrical qualifications and pump repair & maintenance experience to join the Southern Service & Installation team within their Slough office.

The Lead Site Engineer will be using their initiative to resolve problems and maintain excellent relations with the clients.

Responsibilities include but not limited to the commissioning, inclusive of removal and installation, repairing and maintenance of pumps, pipework, valves, motors, fans, heat exchangers, vessels and other associated machinery, on site and at their workshop facility.

The job holder will undertake contracted works in an efficient and effective manner maintaining total professionalism. The duties include providing concise reports including equipment details, photos, accurate measurements, access details and any relevant information that will assist the sales department in providing a quotation for the work required. Other responsibilities require liaising closely with I&S Manager & Supervisor to ensure technical difficulties are discussed and a resolution has been agreed prior to leaving site. Completion of service reports and time-sheets on a daily basis enabling time worked to be allocated to jobs is also part of the Lead Site Engineers obligations.

You will conform to the Company Quality procedures and Works Instruction Manual and understand and sign on to the company RAMS and comply with all Health & Safety regulations.

The Site Engineer team provides 24/7 call out cover for service, working overtime in the evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required.

You must have electrical engineering competence with ability to fault find and commission plant room equipment. You will also possess experience of installing and commissioning inverters and electrical qualifications will be an advantage.

You must have good organisational and communication skills and able to self-motivate and plan to complete tasks accurately, meeting the deadlines and with attention to detail.

You will possess a clean driving licence as you will be provided with the company Van, which you are expected maintain to a road worthy condition and drive in responsible way complying with the road traffic laws
