BUSINESS SERVICE MANAGER, CRIMINAL JUSTICE, SC SECURITY CLEARANCE, SERVICE MANAGEMENT, INSIDE IR35My client, a leader in the criminal justice sector, is seeking an experienced business service manager to work remotely to begin with but then from their London based head quarters. Due to the nature of this role you MUST hold a current and valid SC security clearance in order to be considered.This post holder will be responsible for providing business service management for a set of digital and technology products in live service to ensure that they are performing effectively and continuing to meet user needs and remain fit for purpose in BAU.Key areas of responsibility will include the management, monitoring and oversight of service performance by suppliers (including internal ICT teams) to ensure service quality can be maintained and improved?Role RequirementsOperational management of all parties involved in service provision, including suppliers and internal ICT teams.Performance Monitoring and Management of services against contracted Service Level Agreement metrics or KPIs (baseline standards of service delivery)Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders (ICT, user representatives).Ensuring user satisfaction with the service, working with the user, CSC, ICT, supplier to produce and enact any required recovery action plans if service delivery is not meeting expectationsEnsuring the Financial health of the contract, managing revenues and costs within agreed budgets and forecastsClarifying to NCTP operations teams the scope of support services being provided by CSC, supplierAct as a point of escalation for users for any service failures, with the authority to engage CSC and or supplier to address specific issues / opportunitiesCommunication and business oversight of any planned operational changes to ensure awareness and preparedness of all stakeholders.Building and producing accurate and timely Service Reports with the supplier/CSCService reviews, including the chairing of Service review meetingsManagement of 3rd parties, ensuring SLA commitments are Commercially backed off and that services received are at the required levels of performance and qualityDevelopment of the products - working with the users and relevant stakeholders in NCTP to identify and prioritise service improvement activities.Working with the business to identify service / product support requirements to maintain and improve service delivery within Business as Usual.Experience and KnowledgeExperience of IT service management of high priority services in a demanding and time pressured environment.Understanding of service management processes including, supplier management and risk management.Experience of typical incident and major incident management processes, including experience of acting as the main point of contact for senior stakeholders during major incidents.Experience of building and maintaining relationships with a range of users and stakeholders in the context of service management of live IT services.Experience of managing suppliers and their performance against agreed contract requirements or Service Level Agreements;ITIL v3 Foundation level certification or higherPolicing / CT / Intelligence background/experienceBUSINESS SERVICE MANAGER, CRIMINAL JUSTICE, SC SECURITY CLEARANCE, SERVICE MANAGEMENT, INSIDE IR35
