About The Role For this role you'll have a strong customer-focused background with an advanced understanding of software applications and operating systems, and a logical and methodical approach to problem solving. You'll work alongside other IT and business teams to ensure all assets, access, security and changes are consistently managed in line with defined policies.

At Coventry Building Society the End User Computing team are responsible for; desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, client software, Group Policy, SCCM, Endpoint Security, client patching and VPN access.

As a Technical Specialist you will be responsible for; Providing high quality technical support to stakeholders of all levels  Supporting junior members of the team as a technical escalation point Identifying and progressing ITIL defined problems through to resolution
      Implementing changes in accordance with our Change Management policy Leading on service improvement plans and small projects Ensuring the estate is patched in-line with our risk appetite Providing MI reporting as required About You Role related knowledge and expertise:   Essential Providing excellent service to stakeholders of all levels Configuring, supporting and maintaining Microsoft Windows 7 & 10 Configuring, supporting and maintaining Microsoft Office 2010, 2016 & O365 PowerShell scripting SCCM 2012 and above - software packaging & patch deployment Group Policy creation & administration Mobile Device Management ITIL v3 Foundation Desirable Apple Mac and iOS device support Checkpoint Endpoint Protection Symantec Antivirus Experience with Service Now Other essential information Ability to manage own time and priorities Thorough, dependable with a good attention to detail Deliver to agreed timescales Committed with a flexible approach to working hours to meet own objectives and business needs About The Company IT at the Coventry is changing; we are currently undertaking an exciting transformation that will shape the future of the organisation.
