SQL Server Developer - SSIS / SSAS - This is a long term contract opportunity for an experienced Database Developer with strong Ms SQL Server development skills to join a globally operating Basel based company in the financial sector.

Your experience/skills:

Several years of professional experience in the Data Warehouse domain with focus on SQL usageGood knowledge on Microsoft BI technology such as MS SQL Server, SSIS or SSAS as well as hands on experience in code design and debuggingMultidimensional data modelling skills like Data Vault or Star Schema and a solid understanding of banking BI solutionsCompetent on change management processes using TFS as well as promoting code across environmentsLanguages: English, fluent in written and spoken

Your tasks:

Digging into the parameters of the code or the database while solving performance issuesBuilding Data Vault Modelling automation by creating various design patternsImproving existing and legacy structures using metadata driven BIML scripts to create and maintain database objects and SSIS packagesPromoting code between environments like Dev, UAT and ProductionDetecting data issues in the delivery pipeline and increasing the data validation coverageEnhancing Business Dashboard Performance by tuning the cubes, partitions, loading patterns, query optimizations and indexing
