Based near Brussels this developer of global positioning and navigation systems is seeking an enthusiastic Embedded Software Engineer to join their team of high calibre Software Engineers. The Embedded Software Engineer will be working on state-of-the-art embedded software developed under Linux in C and C++. The Embedded Software Engineer will be involved in the complete software development lifecycle responsible for initial specification to delivery. The successful candidate will have completed a good technical degree (or equiv.) and have a minimum 2 years post graduate experience developing well structured embedded software using C, C++ and Python. Your background will include a familiarity with GNU tools, embedded Linux, communications protocols (WiFi, Ethernet, CAN, USB etc.) and some exposure to driver development. The successful candidate must already live and be authorised to work in the EU. You can expect a very interesting working environment with real importance given to a work/life balance.
