Job Description: Our Blue Chip client is an information technology company, with operations globally and is one of the most prestige companies in the world. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be working within cross-skilled teams, which are comprised of multi-partner practitioners. You should be able to demonstrate prior professional experience making architectural and design decisions, you'll have management of large datasets. You'll show good knowledge of API's within development and test. Role Responsibilities: Make architectural and design decisionsManagement of large datasetsDevelop and test your code (API development)Apply security best practicesReview your peer's code (Github pull requests)Setup and maintain deployment pipelines (CircleCI, Github Actions) and processesSetup and support relevant cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, Azure, Terraform)Monitor and support your applicationsSupport the product owner in sizing and prioritising workKeep a handle on technical debt, whilst shipping new featuresNice to have: Building products which solve real-world problemsWork autonomously in a small cross-functional teamCommercial mind-setExperience within large corporationsGreenfield productsIf you'd think you be suited please submit your CV at the first instance.
