Cloud Infrastructure Network Architect, VMware, Amazon AWS, Cisco, Meraki, SD-wan, Linux, Firewalls An exciting contract opportunity for an Architect to join a well known UK brand on a number of key projects within their tech department as they strive to revolutionise their systems and platforms.

ResponsibilitiesWorking with internal stakeholders, partner vendors and a team of technical Network/Infrastructure engineers to produce exemplary solutions and delivery of key projects that support the future growth of the business. Play a major role in the design and delivery of major infrastructure projects including: VMware upgrade and server consolidation in Hybrid AWS Cloud estateHealth check on current architectural designs/frameworksSD-WAN proof of concept and early stage roll outCreation of Active Active datacenter solutionDocument the design, plan the delivery and deployment paths, operation and basic troubleshooting of all technology platforms.Responsible for the reliability, availability & performance of the IT infrastructure including all testing environments.Supporting internal and external software development workforce and assisting them with deployment, automation and orchestration tasks.Maintaining virtual and cloud based environments relating to Groups online and physical presence focusing on resilience and performance. Document the design, deployment paths, operation and basic troubleshooting of all technology platforms.Proactive monitoring of all the IT Infrastructure and application services.To keep abreast of technical developments of operational importance and to participate in developing or setting standards as directed.
