Assistant Manager - Service Design and Performance - AVP

60k - 70k base + comprehensive benefits package

A vacancy has arisen for an Assistant Manager - Service Design & Performance to join the service management function. This unit covers: Service design, on-boarding preparation acceptance and transition into production through robust build, release, change processes, service and system monitoring and customer focused operations and service desk functions.

Skills needed:

Service Design, Service Performance and Service Management activities within significant scaled environments

Experience delivering service within a banking financial institution

IT project management skills and experience (ideally PRINCE2)

ITIL

Experience of working with Legal, Compliance and Risk functions

Broad technical understanding of the infrastructure stack

(networking, voice, storage, virtualization, compute platforms [server and desktop], operating systems, data center management, capacity planning, event management etc.)

Drive the building of a service excellence culture, always putting the customer, our people and our business at the center of everything undertaken

Experience of ITSM / ITSM Toolsets including ServiceNow

Incident and ITSM / ITSCM Activities (Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery)

Support all Audit, Risk, Vendor and Outsource activities

Conduct Operational Readiness Assessments

Monitor SLA's and OLA's for Technology and report within the Risk framework

Champions service management and associated processes and procedures

Ensure relationships with business clients and EMEA IT functions are captured

Ensure that all regulatory requirements are fully complied with, including SOX, FFIEC assessments and cyber risks

This role may suit an individual who has held the following functional roles: IT Service Manager, IT Service Delivery Manager, IT Service Management Consultant, IT Service Delivery Consultant.

Base to 70k with comprehensive bens package.
