Java Developer London to £100k

Java Developer / Software Engineer (Mathematics OOP) *Remote Interview*. Would you like to be challenged; working on complex and interesting real-time systems whilst continually learning and gaining valuable front office trading experience?

You could be joining a City based trading firm and enjoying an informal atmosphere in the City with a good work life balance (0900 to 1730 with flexibility), casual dress code, bright, funky offices and a peaceful work environment.

As a Java Developer you will create and maintain complex server side Java components which support a highly scalable mission critical real-time financial trading platform with a particular focus on Pricing & Risk systems across multiple asset classes. You'll partner closely with Front Office users, gaining a good understanding of trade floor operations and priorities.

Driven by technology this company is able to offer a remote interview and onboarding process during the current social distancing measures.

Requirements:

Strong core Java design and development skills

Thorough understanding of computing fundamentals, object orientated programming, threading, concurrency and distributed systems

Good knowledge of mathematics

Experience of designing developing large scale systems

Experience of writing automated tests

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong problem solving and analytical abilities
