Systems Administrator - Windows/Linux - SC/ NATO Secret Cleared

You will be responsible for:

- Providing technical support within Air Command for AAS systems.

- Undertaking hardware and software fault diagnosis to identify, rectify and resolve service failures and restore critical AAS and related systems.

- Monitoring AAS and related systems to identify policy, performance and interoperability issues; recommending appropriate solutions to maintain effective service levels.

- Assisting with equipment trials and validation testing of new software releases for AAS systems.

Essential experience includes:

- At least 2 years' experience in the last 5 years in an IT and communication systems support position.

- Experience within the area of Systems Administration of complex computer systems; - Intermediate Knowledge of various operating systems (Microsoft Windows Server, Linux, Solaris).

- Intermediate Knowledge of networking.

- Intermediate level of Configuration management.

- Intermediate Knowledge of DNS/DHCP.

- Basic Knowledge of Windows and Unix scripting.

- Basic Knowledge of ITIL.
