Electronics Design Engineer opportunity on offer within a rapidly growing company who provide Chartership support and unlock your career potential as you progress into managerial positions within a short time frame.

Established over 40 years ago this defence contractor specialise in the design, manufacture and implementation of underwater, land and military communications systems. Having recently undergone expansion they are now looking for an additional Electronics Design Engineer to oversee and manage the development of new product lines from cradle to grave.In this role you will need to be creative; undertaking design projects through to manufacture optimising Electronic systems and prototypes for application across a wide variety of MOD projects. Other duties will include occasional travel to client sites worldwide developing detailed technical proposals as well as managing and mentoring your own well-established technical division.The ideal candidate will be an Electronic Design Engineer who has undertaken design projects from cradle to grave. You will be a creative individual that enjoys thinking outside the box, with an eye for detail and the ability to problem solve promptly prototype and manufacture issues.The Role:*Designing Electronic systems from cradle to grave

*Occasional travel worldwide overseeing installation and development of technical proposals

*Technical management and training of your own R&D Team

*In a vibrant office in Weymouth, Dorset

*£55,000-£60,000 pa + Management progression + Chartership SupportThe Person:*Electronic Design Engineer

*Research and Development experience.

*Experience of 2D/3D CAD Design packages

*Knowledge of analogue/digital circuits as well as firmware sub-systems

*HNC or above in Electronics Engineering
