Job Description If you get excited when talking about distributed systems at scale, or innovating on new ways to gain insights from all the world's information then you'll love working with at my client. While the details of this position are flexible (dependant on seniority), part of your role will see you building search and analytic systems using Java, Kotlin and AWS. These guys are strong believers in team autonomy, automation and DevOps. About the Client This is a product company that combines the power of Artificial Intelligence with the media industry. Their Gothenburg office hosts 5 development teams that focus on the most central part of their "Media Intelligence" solutions. Their products play a major role in advanced Media Monitoring, Social Media Listening & Management, allowing them to increase engagement, allowing more than 26,000 companies to manage their brands. An international company at heart, they operate across several continents and their culture is based off their benefit in people with a passion for developing themselves. Profile On the software side they're using Java and Kotlin with Spring and microservices thrown in. They're using Python for data science and machine learning. Senior experience with either technology is not a requirement if you have a demonstrated history of rapidly acquiring new skills. These guys run on AWS and are heavy users of the services, you can find yourself working with ElasticSearch, Cassandra, Terraform and Docker. Having an interest in search engines, big data analytics, infrastructure, systems engineering and distributed systems would definitely help you here.
