My client is a technology start-up with an impressive academic heritage, who are using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to unlock the potential of clinical data, in order to improve healthcare outcomes. They're now scaling up the data team and require a Machine Learning Research Engineer who can accomplish the following:- Build Machine Learning models capable of providing actionable data
- Assist in the development of data infrastructure and ongoing optimisation
- Help to devise ML model training
- Aid ML learning within the research group, where possible
- Support peers in delivering product features
- Publish research in journals and attend conferences to discuss results This post will ideally suit someone with the following background:
- A PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Bioinformatics, or similar
- A portfolio of publications that exemplify a dedication to research
- Proficiency in Python and C++ (ideally), or similar software
- Exposure to Deep Learning libraries with Tensorflow, Pytorch or similar
- Experience dealing with clinical data (preferred) This is an exciting venture with high profile Directors, investors and partners. They've proven their concept and are having a positive impact on the lives of those with long term illnesses.
