Salary: Up to £30,000 depending on experience
The purpose of the role is to ensure that timely, accurate data is available for use in reporting and analysis of programmes. The role comprises both data management, together with report development and production. The role will be responsible for the accuracy of data loaded into the Enterprise Data Warehouse and for the accuracy of regular and ad hoc information provided to internal and external stakeholders on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
You will be a part of the Business Intelligence Team assisting with the handling, monitoring and reporting of management information in relation to the British Business Bank's funding programmes. You will be supporting in their development to become business area subject matter experts and contributors to the Business Intelligence teams information output.
You will be responsible for receipt and validation of data from external fund delivery partners, accurate processing and manipulation of data into management information systems and supporting in the development of centralised, automated data improvement initiatives.
You will also carry out analysis of data and production of bespoke reports for information requests from all levels internally and from external stakeholders, and be the key contact with external fund delivery partner contacts with regards to reporting information
You will have strong experience of Microsoft products Excel (intermediate or above), Power BI (desirable), with excellent attention to detail, data handling and numeracy skills
A good team player and providing support to team members.
It will be desirable and beneficial to have an understanding of Data Quality and or Business Intelligence concepts, experience of producing accurate data analysis and reports from varied data sources (Excel, Database, etc.) presented in a visual way (PowerPoint, Power BI etc).
