Business Development Executive (Defence focus) is required by a global communications and information organisation in their Basingstoke office.

As the Business Development Executive (Defence focus) you will analyse and identify opportunities to contribute to the growth of the business. You will be consulting on sales activities, market strategies for market specific subjects. Your primary role will be to develop a new name business opportunity.

Essential Skills for the Business Development Executive (Defence focus):Hold or be eligible for SC clearanceProven track record of working in Business Development role in or for a defence focus companySkilled in strategy developmentStrong customer relationship skills and be able to identify and influence stakeholders/decision makersExperienced at identifying and anticipating market trends and planning business development around thisProven track record of achieving annual business development targetsStrong sales planning experienceSkilled in competitor analysisExperienced in providing input for bid reviewsKnowledgeable of governance procedures
