If you've got a relevant degree or are a chartered engineer then please read on and get in touch.Our client is a global leader in auxiliary power products and they are looking to bring in a Senior Principal Electrical Engineer to provide a dedicated group management focus on technical aspects of core auxiliary power products.This role will give you the opportunity to act as Technical Product Manager with the skills of a Principal Electrical Engineer providing subject matter expertise in electrical systems meaning you will be involved in new product development as well.You will be tasked with identifying and fulfilling strategic auxiliary power product requirements and opportunities in close relationship the group. You will review road-maps to ensure evolving business requirements are met. You will establish processes and business relationships that will promote and support utilisation of the products across the group.As Senior Principal Electrical Engineer / Technical Product Manager you will be technical liaison with key suppliers and act as the groups electrical products and systems subject matter expert (SME) when it comes to aux power.This position is based near Glasgow and reasonable relocation costs will be covered to ensure that you get off on the right footing.Depending upon what value you can add to the business your salary will be in the region of £55,000 - £65,000. In addition to this you will also benefit from a 15% annual bonus (potentially higher depending upon company performance) and a great pension scheme.
