Java Developer London to £70k

Java Developer / Software Engineer (Computer Science Java Spring AWS) *Remote Interview WFH*. Would you like to work on complex and interesting systems that provide daily challenges whilst continually learning and gaining valuable knowledge of financial trading systems?

Specialist Commodities Trading firm is seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to design and develop complex web based trading platforms; implement new features and get them into production quickly.

As a Java Developer you'll make improvements to the trading robots and build back office tools to aid the operation of exchanges and make changes to the underlying accounting systems. You'll partner with the Principal Developer, continually learning and progressing your career. The technology stack includes Java 8 / Java 11, Scala, Spring, Kotlin and Linux as well as JavaScript, React on the client side; you'll gain exposure across the full stack.

You'll be based in West London with a friendly, informal "start-up atmosphere" with monthly hack-a-thons; Driven by technology the company is able to offer a remote interview / onboarding process and work from home during the current social distancing measures.

Requirements:

Degree educated; 2.1 or above gained in Computer Science from a top tier university

Strong core Java development experience including multi-threading

AWS

Excellent communication skills, collaborative and enthusiastic with the aptitude to learn
