C++ Developer / Team Lead Cambridge to £75k

C++ Developer / Team Lead (C++ Linux Raspberry Pi). Are you a senior C++ Developer looking for an opportunity to progress your career to a leadership position whilst remaining hands-on?

You could be joining a scale-up technology company; the core product is a complex mathematically based algorithmic software that can be used on a range of devices to process audio, such as IoT home devices, smart speakers, hearing aids and more.

As a C++ Developer / Team Lead you will lead the team responsible for the "tech for good" hearing aid product. You'll be responsible for managing the day to day work, help make the technical decisions, manage projects and mentor more junior team members whilst remaining hands-on with C++ coding yourself.

The company has received significant funding and has signed a deal with a major electronics manufacturer; this is an excellent opportunity to join as they scale, learn and collaborate with a team of highly talented software engineers to bring a unique product to market.

You'll be based in modern offices near Cambridge City centre with a quiet, relaxed working environment and core hours of 1000 to 1600; driven by technology the company can offer a remote interview and onboarding process during the current social distancing measures.

Requirements:

Strong C++ development experience including multi-threading / multi-processor experience

Good knowledge of Linux OS

Raspberry Pi or embedded development experience

Ideally you will have some experience with git, GitHub, CMake, CTest, Jenkins, Confluence

Experience of mentoring or leading projects, keen to progress to a more leadership focussed position

Collaborative with good communication skills
