The NCS offers an academic A Level Curriculum with a specialism in Science and Maths, alongside strong pathways in Humanities. The A Level Curriculum and the extra-curricular programme is focused on preparing students for progression to highly competitive universities in the UK and abroad.

It is not just our teaching staff who help us create exceptional results. Our support staff are vital to ensuring that our students achieve their full potential and become confident, resilient and compassionate individuals who can make a positive contribution to society. We believe that you should be supported too, with all the opportunities you need to develop your career and achieve your goals.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated IT Technician with exceptional organisational skills.  You will work under the direct supervision of the IT Service Delivery Manager. You will provide specialist support with the 1:1 student I pad deployment and the management of MacBook's to support the teaching and learning environment and be the first point of contact for all IT issues, dealing with staff and students in a professional manner and escalating as appropriate. You should be a confident user in a range of desktop applications and be able to explain technical issues tailoring your response to appropriate audiences. You should have exceptional skills in the use of spreadsheets, databases, presentation and desktop publishing software.

Excellent communication skills both oral and written are an essential part of the role to be able to deal with staff, students and external agencies.

Normal hours will be between 8.00am and 16.00pm. It is expected that you would be available to support certain meetings outside of these hours by agreement in advance for which time off in lieu will be accrued.
