My client is a global technology company who specialises in consumer electronics and software products and is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to deploy/develop tools and develop support software for their range of wireless products. The Role:Contribute towards time estimation, requirements capture & design documentationDevelop & test software within complex systemsTrack versioning of applications ensuring that the most appropriate version is in use and upgradingDeliver high quality software solutionsDesign, implement & maintain build systemsDesign, implement & maintain Continuous Integration systemsMaintain & support current systems and tools supported by DevOpsMaintain software including defect investigationPeer review colleague’s workCreate & maintain relevant documentationDevelop tests & scripts to exercise solutions being implementedYour Experience:
Degree (or equivalent qualification/experience) in maths/science/software/electronicsUnderstanding of a scripting language (ideally Python)Source control system such as GitSoftware design techniquesUnderstanding of debug techniques and toolsProficient with Jenkins and JiraAwareness of configuration managementExcellent problem-solving ability in finding root causes of complex issuesDevelopment & maintenance of build systemsExperience with Linux - RedHat, UbuntuConfiguration management system such as PuppetExperience in Database managementIf you are interested in applying to this position, please apply here and send any questions to Jack Anderson.
