Pay Rates
£270 - Days (7am to 3pm - based on 8 hours)
£320 - Nights (4pm to 12am - based on 8 hours)
Key responsibility
Site supervision is a vital role in the construction industry, where safety is a key issue that requires attention to detail. As the site supervisor, it's your job to both assess and manage safety hazards in the workplace. Responsibilities will also include managing and instructing the appointed sub-contractors for the installation of the fire system. Setting goals for the team and seeing projects through to completion.Role and Responsibilities
* Day to day co-ordination and supervision of the appointed sub-contractor for the installation of the Fire solution.
* Supervision of the T.B.T and DAB's on a daily basis.
* Supervision and allocation of resources including plant, equipment, vehicles, materials and logistics (Fire panels, Field equipment, Testing ect)
* Communication of accurate weekly project reports detailing work progress, forecast works and completion including all defects back to the project lead.
* Supporting the project manager in line with our Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental standards.
* Undertake safety and quality inspections and audits.
* Client communication and relationship building to ensure that the installation of the Fire is coordinated with our client and their works.
* Support pricing work for compensation events with the project QS.
* Completing site inspections (Quality and Health and Safety) maintaining site records.
* Driving outputs and motivating teams.
* Ensuring a high standard and quality of work.
* Work closely with our planners to produce programs and schedules of work and update on a weekly basis.

The candidate will ideally have some, but not necessarily all, of the following:
* Practical experience within the construction industry for Fire installation solutions.
* Electrical engineering in line with the IEE regulations.
* Full understanding of BS 5839
* Supervisory experience (minimum 5 years).
* SSSTS (min) SMSTS (ideally).
* Appropriate CSCS/CPCS competency qualifications.
* Full current driving license.
* Experience of leading teams and or coordinating the work of others.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Results Driven.
* Excellent organisational, communication and planning skills.
* Fluency in MS Office and Excel
