Data Scientist - Mid level - London - up to £85,000My client, a private equity firm operating across insurance and finance, is looking for a Data Scientist to join the team. The business operates internationally and there are excellent career progression opportunities for the right candidate. The candidate they are after is someone with great initiative and motivation to get things done and grow with the business, there will be opportunities to develop through training, so the client is really after someone eager to learn. Responsibilities include: Deploying Machine Learning models into production, as well as reviewing them and improving them.Liaising with partners and stakeholders to understand their requirements and suggest improvements.Working with a variety of partners demonstrating a good attitude and good technical experience to be able to solve their problems.Skills required: At least 2 years of commercial experience as a Data Scientist Python and R Experience with statistics and statistical modellingMachine Learning PySparkCloud experience beneficialProven experience liaising with stakeholders and producing Data Science solutions commercially. The Data team is not big, they need someone who is going to join them and be proactive, a great culture fit for the team but also someone who is able to work independently.
