DescriptionDuration: 3 months + extensionsPAYE or Umbrella only__________________________Key Accountabilities

* Production of architectural visions and end-to-end designs for native AWS cloud based solutions

* Co-ordination of impact assessment activities for proposed solutions

* Be the steward for one or more capabilities/technologies, setting ongoing roadmap and direction for them ensuring all components remain in support and conform to Ventures standards

* Project governance in terms of conforming to architectural standards and strategy

* Be an active member of the Architecture function within Ventures technology

* Work closely with key stakeholders to develop designs that are fit for purpose

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:

* An expert in implementing new AWS cloud technology solutions.

* Hands with AWS Devops tools

* Extensive experience with AWS Cloudformation

* Experience with cloud security

* Proven experience in architecting end to end solutions including software/application architecture and integration

* Demonstrable cloud architecture and implementation experience.

* Ability to work with a wide range of business stakeholders

Desirable Skills/Preferred Qualifications:

* Cloud certifications in AWS expected - Associate Developer or Solutions Architect. Ideally Professional

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

* AWS Cloudformation ,AWS Pipeline, AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodeCommit,

* Automation - DevOps - Such as Docker, Chef, Jenkins, Openshift & Kubernetes, GIT, Ansible experience

* AWS Organisations and Multi-account management

* Serverless technologies

* Infrastructure as Code

* Databases architecture

* Containers - Docker / Kubernetes

* Cloud Security

Person Specification

* A proven track record in delivering cloud solutions

* Ability to work and thrive in a startup/Fintech culture

* An advocate of Diversity and Inclusivity

* Passionate about delivering complex green field solutions in an agile environment

* Practical knowledge and experience of agile/iterative development methodologies (e.g. SCRUM)
