DV Cleared 2nd line / 3rd line Server Engineer / Server Support to be based from Portsmouth

My client is looking for a DV Cleared 2nd line/ 3rd Line Support Engineer responsible for support and maintenance of Windows server to ensure robust and stable platforms.

Responsible for 3rd line support of the Corporate Desktop, providing technical delivery into various environments in line with the ITIL framework.

Key Responsibilities:

*Confidence Check/Installation of all new servers.

*Server OS Installation, configuration and restoration.

*Liaison with relevant teams to progress deployment of change/projects from Development to Test.

*Ensure delivery of change/projects into Live.

*2nd Line and initial 3rd Line support on Windows Servers.

*3rd Line support for all networked Windows desktops.

*2nd Line support for Applications-related service calls.

*Working with the 'OS Integration' team to ensure that delivery systems work efficiently.

*Support and maintenance of server hardware.

Knowledge:

*HP Server hardware.

*Windows OS (Server 2003/2008).

*Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.

*TCP/IP network principles.

*Desktop (Windows XP).

*ITIL Framework.
