The Housing Ombudsman Service provides independent, impartial and fair dispute resolution for nearly 5 million households in England. We recently agreed new powers with government, enabling us to do more to resolve disputes effectively and promote positive change across the social housing sector. We have agreed an increased budget to support our change programme, with exciting plans to grow the size of the organisation, recruit new colleagues and broaden our work. As Data Analyst, you will be part of the newly formed Quality, Engagement and Development team. You will provide a high quality analytical function using a wide range of tools to interrogate and interpret information. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Housing Ombudsman Service's data strategy, analysing and mining the complaint data we hold alongside other sources to maximise the external impact of our work, improve the customer experience and support systemic investigations conducted by the Ombudsman.

Key requirements for the role include:

Substantial experience of developing a large variety of data reports and analysis

Interpreting and presenting results

Experience of producing MI reports

Experience of working with MS Access and Report Builder

Knowledge of SQL

Advanced Excel
