Network Engineer to work in Portsmouth - DV Cleared

*Install, configure and support Cisco switches/routers at layer 2/3 including gateways and data LAN/WAN networks

*support DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, BGP,EIGRP, QoS, Multicast

*support firewalls working to corporate security directives

*Write, update and maintain written processes and procedures

*Provide 2/3rd line support to colleagues

*Correct reporting and escalation of issues impacting or have the potential impact

*Infrastructure services

We are considering start dates up to December 2020

Required Skills:

*knowledge of Cisco switches/routers layer 2/3

*knowledge of either Juniper or Checkpoint FW's

*knowledge of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, MPLS

*Self-starter with willingness to learn from colleagues

*Must be a good team player and able to use own initiative

*Must have good problem determination and communication skills

*Dynamic and flexible "can-do" attitude

Desired:

*Knowledge and experience of working within secure environments

*CCNA, CCNP

*Juniper SSL solutions

*Cisco VOIP

*Experience of working within an ITIL based ITSM environment

*Experience of creating SoW, detailed system designs/documentation

*Experience of delivering project deliverables on time and to budget
