My client who is based in Present and Newcastle require a Front End Developer for 3 months initially with the potential to extend.

This role will be initially remotley but eventually will need someoen to be based either Preston or Newcastle. This role is inside of IR35.

The front-end developer will have extensive experience working with Node and will work within the scrum team to deliver the product vision. They will work closely with BAs user researchers and QAs to understand the user and business need and assurance criteria to meet and will build the product thoughout the agile delivery lifecylce delivering quality code that will meet the assurance criteria and align to the technical architecture. They will work closely with other developers and tech architect in the team to deliver a fully integrated solution.

The Apply for NINO (AfN) project aims to provide customers with the capability to apply online for a National Insurance Number moving customers into the Digital channel from existing telephony and face-to-face channels. The IBM team will work with the client to deliver the new service currently moving out of Alpha adopting a user-centred design approach and following the GDS framework to deliver an MVP solution to a sub-set of customers for Private Beta. The service will comprise an internet-facing Web UI as well as several backend services deployed on the Citizen Information Platform and exposed

Experience

Casa framework (nunchucks html templating) JavaScript NodeJS Mongo Atas Kubrtnetes AWS Redhat

Developer with experience developing using Node.js. RESTful integration. Knowledge of AWS (or other cloud providers) pipelines/DevOps database and terraform / Kubernetes would be beneficial but not needed by everybody in team. Some UX experience (React) / CSS required.
