Influence the direction of a brand-new public body The Independent Monitoring Authority for Citizens' Rights is a brand-new public body. Our role will be to monitor the UK's implementation and application of the agreements made by our Government with the EU, and EEA/EFTA states, to guarantee the rights of their citizens living in the UK, now that we have left the EU. To fulfil this crucial commitment, the IMA needs to be fully operational by 31 December 2020. Both challenging and professionally rewarding - a career-defining opportunity As a Senior Analyst, you'll be part of the Intelligence and Analysis Team supporting all aspects of the IMA's work. Developing data reports and providing insights to support operational decisions, this will include analysing trends in complaints received to identify potential systemic issues. Helping to ensure the IMA collects all appropriate data and information, you'll work with strategy and communications colleagues to build an external picture of potential issues with stakeholders, government departments and public authorities and monitor compliance with their agreed actions. Using analytical techniques to support the development of new management information and creating reports to support the IMA, you'll use your expertise to help develop the role of the Intelligence and Analysis team. You'll also grow the IMA's analytical capability by developing and delivering training to both specialist and non-specialist staff. What you'll bring To apply, you'll need an undergraduate degree at a minimum of 2:1, or 2:2 with relevant work experience or a postgraduate degree. This degree should be in a relevant numerate or social science discipline. We're looking for you to bring excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with experience of conducting analytical projects and using evidence to inform decision-making. As well as being confident in working with senior colleagues, you must be able to build relationships with, and influence, a wide range of stakeholders. This should include demonstrating the ability to work across different government departments and public bodies to achieve the best results.
