DevOps Engineer Leeds to £85k
DevOps Engineer (Linux CI/CD Automation Terraform IaC). Are you a skilled DevOps Engineer looking for a new opportunity to utilise your skills? You could be progressing your career at a fast growing Challenger Bank that is helping to revolutionise consumer banking through the use of advanced data centric, SaaS Cloud based banking technology.
As a DevOps Engineer you will focus on automating builds via CI/CD pipelines and getting code into production as quickly and efficiently as possible; supporting services before they go live via system design consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning and launch reviews. You'll use automation to scale systems sustainably and help to make improvements, evolving systems and driving change that improves the reliability, speed and security.
You'll be based in modern open plan offices in Central Leeds with a great team atmosphere, casual dress code, a fully stocked fridge and lots of social activities.
Driven by technology this company is able to offer a remote interview on onboarding process during the current social distancing measures including work from home (100% during social distancing and then 2-3 days going forward).
Requirements:
Strong experience as a Linux Engineer / Platform Engineer or DevOps coupled with CI/CD experience including experience with the following tools / technologies: Terraform (build and deploy experience) essential plus at least some of the following: Jenkins, JIRA, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins
Good knowledge of Cloud based platforms (AWS preferred)
Python coding skills
Good knowledge of Linux OS, Networking (routing, switching)
Collaborative technologist, continual learner who is constantly seeking improvement
