Software Developer in Test London to £60k

Software Developer in Test / QA Automation Engineer *Remote Interview WFH*. Are you a data centric technologist seeking complex and interesting systems to apply and enhance your skills, continually learning and working with a range of modern automation test tools and technologies?

As a Software Developer in Test you will help to maintain and improve the automated test framework and CI/CD pipelines on the data analytics platform as well as creating new fast and reliable automated tests, pairing with software developers at the design stage to assist with TDD. You'll investigate test failures and defect reports, participate in team retrospectives and work closely with other technical teams to ensure that releases have the expected level of quality.

Requirements:                                           

Experience of developing and maintaining fast, reliable automated test frameworks on high-throughput data centric systems

Ability to code with a common programming language (e.g. C#, Java, Python, Scala)

Good working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker a bonus

Understanding of SQL, networking concepts such as TCP/IP and virtualised environments

Ideally you'll have experience of working with software developers in an Agile / TDD environment

Collaborative with strong communication skills, keen to work as part of a diverse team

Likely to be degree educated
