Front to Booking Commodities Application Support - Investment BankingCommodities Application Production Support specialist required with following skills:-
• System administration - Good experience in Windows systems and good knowledge on Linux
• Application servers / middleware - Good knowledge in configuring and supporting the following: IIS, MQ, Consul, Redis.
• Networks - good understanding of network principles and practical knowledge of load balancing technologies, as F5 Big-IP is essential
• DevOps tools: Jenkins, Ansible Tower, Team City, Octopus, BladeLogic.
• Monitoring - Good and practical experience of some of the following preferable: Geneos, Prometheus, Grafana
• Scripting (Powershell, SQL, Ansible, Python, Shell ...) and development skills for administration, monitoring and support tools. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in similar role with Commodities experience . S/he must be experienced in providing multi-disciplined technical support as part of a team, and have practical knowledge of performance and capacity management from an application, database and network perspective.
Other desirable skills:- • Languages - exposure to C#, .NET, Node.Js based applications is a plus
• Databases - exposure to or skills in SQL Server
• Schedulers - exposure to or skills in $U
• Security - exposure to strong authentication (certificates, Kerberos, ...), firewall, Web Application Firewall
• Understanding of application lifecycle
• Appreciation of production processes, including change and release management
• Good incident and problem management skills, with knowledge of ITIL beneficial Role can be paid via a limited company
