C++ Developer / Backend Software Engineer London to £100k

C++ Developer / Backend Software Engineer (C++ Linux Python) *Remote Interview*. Would you like to work on complex and challenging systems as part of a small highly talented team, working collaboratively to solve problems for one of the world's most successful proprietary trading firms?

As a C++ Developer you will design, code, test and deploy high performance, distributed C++ systems that enable trading on more than eighty financial exchanges across the globe and processes multi-petabyte data sets on one of the most powerful computing grids in the world. You'll be introducing critical features to the real-time trading platform and working with global teams to efficiently deliver high quality software releases.

This C++ Developer / Backend Software Engineer presents an opportunity to work on complex and interesting systems and learn from a hugely talented team with excellent career progression.

Requirements:

Degree educated, likely to have studied further (MSc / PhD)

Strong C++ development skills on Linux

Thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals including Object Orientated Programming, Data Structures, threading models and networking

Familiar with Python

Logical mindset with a love of problem solving and the aptitude to learn quickly
