Claims & Performance Analyst (Insurance)
London
£50000 - £60000 per annum
To identify and address present and emerging material claims performance risks, to assist in delivering Claims Strategy and to provide market leadership in claims performance.
To deliver a robust performance management framework for claims which includes -
o Use of claims management information and data
o Formulating robust and proportionate market interventions
o Benchmarking of claims performance and case reserving
o Input and participation in driving and delivering claims performance enhancement programmes, claims related reviews/thematic activities
o Liaise closely as required with Customer Standards Oversight team and with
Skills
? Influencing & negotiating skills.
? Effective networking skills.
? Ability to think strategically as well as focus on the detail
? Ability to analyse complex data sets
? Review and evaluation skills
Knowledge of insurance markets
? Knowledge of claims, legal, regulatory, government, rating agency and policyholders issues
? Knowledge of macro and micro landscape influences at an insurance level and macro global economic level influences ? Knowledge of relevant legal principles relating to claims in both UK and international markets
Technical competencies of tools such as SQL, Power-BI, Business Objects are not essential but will be advantageous
