Junior Software Engineer Guildford to £50k

Junior Software Engineer / Developer (C++ 3D Maths Games) *Remote Interview*. Are you a bright, enthusiastic Software Engineer with strong C++ skills, a good grasp of mathematics and a love of video games? You could be using your skills to create and build realistic and immersive characters for AAA games at one of the country's leading games studios.

As a Junior Software Engineer you'll join a small team dedicated to achieving realistic human animation through combining animations, IK and other bespoke skeletal control systems; you'll be involved across the full development lifecycle of asset production from specification to platform specific challenges.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn and develop your skills with specific games technologies, particularly Unreal4; the main skills you'll need to bring are C++, a good knowledge of 3D Maths and a passion for gaming.

You'll be based in a beautiful area of Surrey, close to a mainline station.

Driven by technology this company is able to offer a remote interview / onboarding process and work from home during the current social distancing measures.

Requirements:

You have advanced C++ development skills

You have a good knowledge of 3D Maths ideally with a broad knowledge of the theory and practical application of 3D Maths in games

You're collaborative and keen to learn and share ideas

You're degree educated, Computer Science or similar scientific discipline - may have gone on to study at MSc or PhD level and have personal animation projects
