Join this innovative social business as a Systems Developer and provide the expertise to translate business needs into applications spearheading an ambitious change programme.

At Raven, we believe that having a good quality, affordable home makes a huge difference to people's lives and that creating social value is an important part of our work. We want to ensure that all our residents are connected to services they value and trust - saving them time, giving them options and helping them to enjoy their homes. By making the best use of new technology across processes, people and systems, our visionary transformation programme, Better Connected, will deliver a fundamental change in business operations. It's an exciting time to join the team.

As a Systems Developer you'll design and develop web-based and client server applications, using requirements analysis and design techniques driven by business need. Working with external and in-house resources to write code according to specifications, you'll also liaise with the Business Systems Manager to ensure applications meet service level standards and roadmap requirements, and adhere to technical design principles and the Target Operating Model.

You have 2 years plus experience working in a Microsoft environment, including Microsoft stack (e.g. Dynamics 365, Azure & the Power Platform), while experience of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Housing Management Systems, Finance and HR Systems would be preferred.

You are able to write code in both web and client/server environments using: Java, .Net, C, C++, HTML, XML, SQL, VBA; across Windows, Linux operating systems; UNIX, Windows Server; and MS Access, SQL Server. Your knowledge spans: software development lifecycle methodologies (e.g. Waterfall, Iterative, Agile); Test & Release strategies; enterprise and cloud-based systems. You should also share our values: earning trust by being open and accountable, listening with an open mind, working collaboratively and caring about making things better.

We support and trust our staff to work as a team and be their best. We offer good salaries and benefits, a great pension scheme, paid holiday and sickness benefit, plus support for further training to develop your skills and career.
