Join this innovative social business as a SQL BI Data Analyst and you'll be creating the SQL data warehouse - and integrating BI visualization tools - to drive an ambitious change programme.

At Raven, we believe that having a good quality, affordable home makes a huge difference to people's lives and that creating social value is an important part of our work. We want to ensure that all our residents are connected to services they value and trust - saving them time, giving them options and helping them to enjoy their homes. By making the best use of new technology across processes, people and systems, our visionary transformation programme, Better Connected, will deliver a fundamental change in business operations. It's an exciting time to join the team.

As a SQL BI Data Analyst you'll be responsible for the creation and delivery of a SQL based data repository/warehouse and the integration of commercially available BI insight tools, in particular Power BI, to maximise the power of collated information. Playing an integral role in designing and maintaining all reporting solutions, you'll help identify areas of poor data quality, provide sub-sets of data for Subject Access Requests or similar business requirements, support the migration and cleansing of data between systems, and support all aspects of data security.

With strong analytical thinking and problem-solving, your experience will include manipulating data with SQL or similar ETL, working on change projects and in a Microsoft environment, including Microsoft Office, Microsoft stack (e.g. Dynamics 365, Azure Synapse Analytics & the Power Platform), CRM, Housing Management, Finance and HR Systems. MS SQL Server T-SQL, SSRS and SSIS are essential, together with exposure to data warehouse development, APIs and BI tools such as Power BI. An understanding of MS SQL Server DBA principles would be advantageous. You should also share our values: earning trust by being open and accountable, listening with an open mind, working collaboratively and caring about making things better.

We support and trust our staff to work as a team and be their best. We offer good salaries and benefits, a great pension scheme, paid holiday and sickness benefit, plus support for further training to develop your skills and career.
