***In line with the Care Quality Commission estates strategy, we are planning to move our London office from 151 Buckingham Palace Road to 2 Redman Place, Stratford, East London in late 2020.***

Are you committed to helping us regulate health and social care within England?

We are looking for individuals who are caring, demonstrate integrity, work well as part of a team and always strive for excellence in everything they do. Help us make sure health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care and encourage care services to improve.

Let us tell you a little bit about the role....

This is an exciting time for technology at CQC.  We are investing in a business and digital transformation to support our new strategy.  The successful delivery of our strategy will see us become a world-class regulator, supported by modern technology, intelligence tools and innovative ways of supporting the Health and Social Care sector.   Over the next few years we will make a significant investment in digital and intelligence platforms.  The Head of Architecture role exists to design and develop CQC's technology capability to underpin that business strategy.

What we're looking for from you...

The post holder will maintain a "blueprint" of CQC's technology strategy, processes and information technology assets and ensure that the component systems work together as a whole. You will ensure that CQC's technology roadmap aligns to the broader system roadmap for the Department of Health and other Arms-Length Bodies and be responsible for enabling the CQC to rapidly expand it's data analysis, digital engagement and internal business process, collaboration and information sharing needs. Managing an architecture that supports the most efficient and secure technology environment required to meet CQC's business needs, you will have considerable experience working at the boundary between business and technology and exceptional interpersonal skills.
