Our client is recruiting for an Email Systems Administrator to join a team in Brussels.

Due to the nature of the role and the client, candidates must be EU Nationals and hold a NATO Secret or EU Secret Clearance.

Education and Certifications:

* Higher education in Computer Science or relevant subject - 4 year degree in Computer Science related Degree and 10 years experience in Email Systems Administrator. (In the absence of a degree each candidate will have an additional two years experience per annum of missing higher education

* Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: Messaging - Desirable

* Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: Exchange 2003 or later - Microsoft Exchange 2003 Certified

Languages, Protocols, Standards and Methodologies

* Excellent knowledge of messaging technology & protocols (POP3, IMAP, SMTP, …) - 10 years of experience with messaging technology using tools such as MsExchange 5.5, 2003.

* Email anti-virus and anti-spam tools - 6 years of experience using tools such as McAfee

* Good knowledge of Active Directory Services - 5 years of experience in working with Active Directory Services

* Good knowledge of TCP/IP Data Networks - 5 years of experience, working in Secure Network Environments

* Good knowledge of email PKI infrastructure with certificate management tools

* ITIL (change management, incident management, configuration management, availability management) - 5 years experience, ITIL Foundational certified

* Working in compliance with internationally recognised security standards (like ISO 27000) - Minimum 1 year of experience is desirable

Technical Environment, Tools and Products

* Administration of MS Exchange2003 - 2010/Outlook and SMTP based email systems (>4000 mailboxes) - 10 years of experience including the deployment MS Exchange 2007

* Microsoft Exchange 2012 - Minimum 4 years of experience are mandatory

* Microsoft Exchange 2016 - Minimum 1 year of experience is mandatory

* Tuning and scaling Exchange Servers - Minimum 5 years of experience are mandatory

* Troubleshooting Exchange Server related issue - Minimum 5 years of experience are mandatory

* Administration of Microsoft office suite, email and calendar - Minimum 5 years of experience are mandatory

* Email security appliances - Minimum 5 years of experience are mandatory

* Exchange High availability & Disaster Recovery - Minimum 5 years of experience are mandatory

* Very good knowledge of centralised calendar systems in large organisations - Minimum 4 years of experience are mandatory

* Exchange Migration - Minimum 3 years of experience are mandatory

* Troubleshooting network issues - Minimum 3 years of experience are mandatory

* Very good knowledge of email archiving solutions - Minimum 2 years of experience are mandatory

* Good knowledge of VMWare - Minimum 2 years of experience are mandatory

* Installation, Administration & Problem Solving of server operating systems - 3 years experience including the implementation of systems such as Windows Server 2003

* Experience with implementation of secure mail infrastructures for defence, government or financial organisations - 4 years experience including the implementation of systems such as Windows Server 2003

* Very good knowledge of Microsoft operating systems - 5 years experience.

* Microsoft SQL server - Minimum 2 years of experience are desirable

* Cluster Administration - Minimum 1 year of experience is desirable
