My client, a leading systems integrator thriving in the current climate, are looking to grow their sales team, and are currently looking for an Technical Sales Manager to oversee the bids and tenders team. This role offers remote working.

Summary of RoleBeing in a senior position within the company you will oversee costings, estimates, bids, and proposals, reporting to the Sales Director Job ResponsibilitiesPrepare quotations and specifications for automation application tenders, within the set deadline dateOversee and manage the internal tenders teamLiaise with the sales team, to include project updates, latest industry technologiesHandle sales and project customer requests for informationDeliver a high quality service to customers, maintain the company's reputation as a leading edge systems integratorProvide technical support and training to the tenders teamManage and control engineering resources to support complex technical bidsAttend customer survey, tender and project review meetings when required Knowledge, Skills & ExperienceQualified to degree level in electrical/electronic engineeringPrevious experience in a similar roleDetailed knowledge of systems integration incorporating variable speed drives, robotics, PLCs and SCADA/HMI technologiesStrong communication skills in all areasCapable of using initiative and paying close attention to detailExcellent organisational and time management skills, capable of prioritisingKnowledge and experience of some of the following is a requirement:Variable Speed Drives (essential)SCADAPLCFieldbusRoboticsIndustry 4.0 Personal QualitiesExcellent communication skills, both oral & writtenConfident and pro-active with an organised approach to workAbility to work off own initiative, as well as being a team playerSituational adaptabilityGood problem solverHands on attitudeEnthusiastic and able to be relied upon Remuneration PackageCompetitive salaryCar allowancePension schemeBonusHealth care
