A Local Authority currently requires an IT contracts officer for an initial 3 month contract based in North London, paying up to £30.45 per hour via umbrella or £24.38 per hour via PAYE.You will need experience of:Experience of IT procurement in public sectorNeed to demonstrate knowledge of the essential criteria of procuring through the G-CloudManaging procurement pipelineContracts RegisterStakeholder engagementOptions appraisal to identify routes to marketThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing commercial support to council-wide stakeholders for the procurement of new IT and digital solutions and the renewal of the existing contract portfolio.The successful candidate must possess the knowledge to independently lead on OJEU tenders and mini competitions including through G-Cloud and other compliant routes to market.The candidate will be responsible for managing allocated projects including for contract management and supplier relationship responsibilities. You will ensure that the procurement activities fully comply with necessary legislation while striving to identify opportunities for savings.
