My client who is based in Ipswich is looking for an SC Cleared consultant to work in a secure environment where the number of people on a project is limited. This will be for an initial 6 month contract with the strong chance of renewal.

This individual will want to work End to End on projects. They will be required to work with customers to determine requirements and acceptance into service criteria and work with the project management teams to create schedules of activity. They will be responsible for both the high level and low level design of network managements systems. This can include all components from hardware specification/OS/Application and database.

You will present designs to the Design Assurance Board and gain signoff before moving into live deployment where you will also be responsible for the installation and build of the platforms. You will work with operations to ensure they are trained on the systems and resolve any defects. Post deployment you will remain the SME for the platform and provide design input to in-life tech refresh and 3rd line consultancy.

Scripting knowledge

RedHat Linux

Oracle DB

Entuity/Dataminer/IBM Netcool Omnibus (or other NMS where knowledge/concepts are clearly transferrable)
