Our Client based in Wales is seeking a Programme Delivery Manager to help coordinate and manage a programme of rapid discovery/alpha projects that aim to demonstrate, curate and share best practice in service delivery, develop and agree standards and build digital capability in Wales.The Programme Delivery Manager will coordinate and run the three main parts of our alpha phase:Squads/teams to run rapid discovery/alpha phases across the public sector in WalesA knowledge sharing hub of good digital practiceAn academy for skills and capability to train leaders and practitioners

Key Skills/Experience Demonstrable evidence of having delivered multiple agile programmes and products/servicesDemonstrable evidence of managing programmes with multiple suppliersDemonstrable evidence of managing complex stakeholder situationsExperience in leading a collaborative, dynamic planning process - prioritising the work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability of multidisciplinary teamsDemonstrable experience of mentoring and coaching more junior team membersProven ability to challenge and remove any unnecessary barriers to service deliveryUnderstanding of user centred service design practices, Government Digital Service Standards and the assessment processStrong negotiation skills and the ability to influence external partners, suppliers, stakeholders and customers to secure mutually beneficial outcomesKnowledge of Government procurement landscape for digital and technology products and services.Experience working in the Welsh public sectorAbility to create concise and insightful communications for dissemination to all stakeholder groups Programme Delivery Manager (Welsh Public Sector, GDS), Agile, Product, Service, Supplier, Stakeholder, Planning, Collaboration, Collaborative, Dynamic, Strategic, Prioritise, Capacity, Capability, Mentor, Coach, Service Delivery, Government Digital Service Standards, GDS Standards, GDS Assessment, User Centred, UCD, Service Design, Negotiation, Procurement, Welsh, Wales, Public Sector.
