Linux Infrastructure Engineer London to £60k

Linux Infrastructure Engineer (RedHat Linux Storage) *Remote Interview WFH*. Would you like to gain valuable knowledge of financial trading systems whilst enjoying an informal atmosphere with a good work life balance, casual dress code and modern, open plan offices?

As a Linux Infrastructure Engineer at this City based trading firm you will join the team responsible for availability, security and performance for all areas related to Linux servers and storage systems. You'll manage the day to day operations for Linux operating systems, server hardware and virtual environments as well as managing the SAN storage system operations; seeking continual improvement and using automation as much as possible.

You will be based in an informal atmosphere in the City with a good work life balance (0900 to 1730 with flexibility), casual dress code, bright, open plan offices and a peaceful work environment. The company is able to offer a remote interview / onboarding process and complete work from home during the current social distancing measures.

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of Linux OS, RedHat preferred

Experience of managing server hardware for example DELL blades and rackmount servers via OpenManage

Ability to scripting with PowerShell, Python or similar

Familiar with a automation technologies, Ansible preferred

Enterprise storage technologies: ideally 3PAR, Cloudian, Brocade SAN

Collaborative team member with excellent communication skills

Natural problem solver, organised and logical
