Excellent opportunity for an Industrial Maintenance Engineer looking for an autonomous field based role within a progressive company that offers great training to become a technical expert within their respective field.On offer is the chance to learn and develop your technical skills within the animal care market where you will be relied on to become the company's technical expert for the installation, service, maintenance and successful running of hatchery equipment such as vaccination booths, washing facilities and carrier systems at customer hatcheries across the UK.This company are a market leader in animal care for the UK food market, ensuring the highest quality standards to protect poultry from diseases which could be harmful to them or consumers. With a strong focus towards vaccination and prevention, they have an expanding client base across the UK and offer excellent training for someone to really be a technical industry expert. They require a customer service focussed engineer that has the ability to problem solve and troubleshoot to ensure the smooth running of the machinery.In this role you will be fully autonomous, project manging installation projects from design through to commissioning, as well as undertaking reactive and planned maintenance in a field based role. The ideal candidate will be from a food, FMCG, pharmaceutical or similar industry with anyone from a poultry or hatchery background having a distinct advantage although full product training will be given.The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of industrial style machinery and a strong grasp of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic principles. You will need to be a problem solver and will need excellent customer service skills, going above and beyond to achieve client satisfaction. The role:

* Full responsibility for the installation, maintenance and service of industrial equipment

The person:

* Ability to problem solve

* Great customer service skills

* Experience within pharma, FMCG, hatchery, poultry or similar

* Well rounded maintenance engineer with ability to manage teams and projects
