Title: Financial Accounting Manager

Term: 12 Months (potential temp to perm available)

Location: Cheshire

Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 + Benefits (DOE)

A highly reputable, international financial services client is seeking a technically strong Financial Accounting Manager for a 12-month contract. Supporting the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful completion of period end reports whilst maintaining strong financial controls.

Responsibilities include:

* Overseeing a small team of 3 finance professionals

* Ensure successful and timely completion of period end process

* Maintain and develop the internal controls

* Ensure completion of inter-company and ledger accounts as well as balance sheet reconciliations

* Work closely with the wider finance team including Tax and Internal Audit functions

* Liaise with external auditors as and when required

The successful candidate must have:

* Qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA or QBE

* Advanced Excel with proven experience in a similar financial reporting role

* Ideally possess some line management experience
